David and Jayne married in 1981.

They ran a school in a mining communities from 1967/1983.

​

In 1993 they took over the Regency Ballroom which they ran for 14 years before moving to the Grosvenor Rooms to enable them to increase the business from just a dance school to an entertainment centre, running dances, holding weddings, parties etc

​

David and Jayne’s son Scott Blant-Harwood joined them in the business in 2007.

​

Their youngest son Kyle Harwood dances in the school and hopes in the future to join the business teaching part time alongside his job at Notts County Council.
